3D Printed Concrete Pre-Fabricated Bathroom Units (PBUs)

CES_INNOVFAB Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chip Eng Seng Corporation Ltd, is pleased to launch the first 3D Printed Concrete PBU in Singapore at BEX Asia 2022. We will be showcasing our PBU and other 3D printed articles at boothC-J12.

First 3D Printed PBU in Singapore Through collaboration with a renowned local University, we have developed the first 3D printed concrete PBU in Singapore. Our PBU has obtained in-principle acceptance from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) under the Light Weight Concrete PBU category. Our PBU consists of a conventional reinforced concrete (RC) base slab, and a 3D printed shell. The method of applying finishes to our PBU is similar to that of RC PBUs..

Our automated production process ensures a higher level of reliability and quality conformance of the PBUs. Automation allows for us to achieve a high level of productivity and a short turnaround time, which ensures the timely delivery of PBUs to our clients. As we save on material and energy consumption, we are taking a step closer to a greener future.

CES_INNOVFAB’s PBUs are certified to Medium Duty Grade for Strength and Robustness (in accordance to SS492:2001 / BS 5234: Part 2: 1992). Our PBUs will be well suited for the rigorous demands of being a component of all buildings.
